Heat Treat Classifieds is a service of Heat Treat Today and are provided as a service to the North American heat treat industry – primarily manufacturers with their own in-house heat treat departments especially in aerospace, automotive, medical, and energy sectors … as well as general manufacturing. Heat Treat Today does not monitor, certify, or verify the veracity of any Heat Treat Classifieds ads published on its various platforms, e.g. magazines, website, e-newsletters, podcasts, etc. Buyers must perform their own due diligence before purchasing any equipment or services offered on this or any other Heat Treat Today platform.
Ad Rate & Specifications
Ads are sold on a monthly basis and vary in price from as low as $180.00 up to $1,500.00 for a full-page ad. Photos and color text are allowed. Ads can be supplied by the advertiser or created by the Heat Treat Today team. Typically, a nominal ad creation fee is assessed if the ad is created by the Heat Treat Today team.
3 Primary Offerings
Heat Treat Classifieds include three (3) primary categories and only these three categories:
- Used, Rebuilt, or Refurbished Equipment The following types of equipment will not be included in the Classified Section: new equipment, equipment built on spec, standard/off-the-shelf equipment, laboratory equipment, and any other equipment not previously sold. Equipment that was sold, never used and returned to the manufacturer or purchased by a used equipment broker for re-sale are allowed.
- Aftermarket Parts and/or Services Aftermarket parts or services may be included in the classified section. Ad sizes for all Aftermarket Parts and/or Services ads are limited to no more than four (4) column inches (approximated 1/8 of a page) per ad. There is also a limitation of only four (4) Aftermarket Parts and/or Services ads per company per month.
- Employment Opportunities Employment Opportunity ads include both Help Wanted ads AND Position Wanted ads. As a service to the heat treating industry, Position Wanted ads will be run at no charge for individuals seeking employment in the North American heat treat industry. Job placement companies and/or headhunter type companies are not eligible for free Position Wanted ads.
Online Ads Are FREE with Purchase of Print Ads
Heat Treat Classifieds are sold primarily to appear in the print & digital editions of Heat Treat Today magazine. Ads are listed online as a FREE service to the advertiser. Online-only ads are not sold – all ads appearing in print are reproduced online at no extra charge to the advertiser.
